This session will delve into Academic Resilience and Academic Writing, equipping students with essential study skills and effective writing techniques that are tailored to the study skills programme.

  • Aiming High: Helping students set clear, tangible goals for academic performance and devise a robust study plan to achieve them
  • Staying Positive: Teaching students strategies to overcome setbacks in studies and stay motivated toward achieving their academic goals

Critical Thinking and Research Skills:

The focus in this session will be on nurturing critical thinking skills and introducing research methods, with a direct relevance to the study skills programme.

  • Creativity: Encouraging students to think creatively while conducting research and exploring new ideas in their academic pursuits
