Active Learning Group specialises in experiential learning for children, spanning outdoor education for schools, and summer camps and daycare for children during the school holidays. Through outdoor learning, free play, travel, language hands-on activities and socialising, their aim is to enhance children’s creativity, teamwork, confidence and resilience.

Active Learning Group is embedding the Framework into their range of outdoor programmes for 4 – 18-year-olds at their Cuffley Active Learning Centre in Hertfordshire’s woodlands and via their at-school day courses.  They have aligned focus skills and steps from the Framework into each itinerary, to structure activities and progression, as well as supporting learners’ reflection on their skill development. They are also using the Framework and Skills Builder Hub to facilitate conversations with teachers to ensure that the programme addresses each cohort's three target skills.
