Bridge Building Challenge

This workshop is usually 90 minutes long and with students from Year 3 up to Year 7.

Teams of students use kNex to construct five different types of bridges from instructions.

Then each team is given the task of designing and modelling their own bridge to span a distance and support weight.

Five of the Skills Builder essential skills are assessed at the end of the workshop using a Clikapad quiz. The skills are introduced at the start of the workshop and reminder questions placed on the tutor's PowerPoint at appropriate points.
