In today's rapidly changing world, understanding the connection between education and future opportunities is crucial for students. Our resources and posters serve as vital tools to bridge this gap, illustrating how each subject, from Applied Science to Classical Civilisation, links to various careers, skills, and pathways. By clearly displaying these connections, the posters support learning outcomes by helping students make informed decisions about their education and employment prospects. Additionally, the posters integrate the Skills Builder essential skills, highlighting how subjects cultivate critical abilities such as problem-solving, communication, and teamwork. This visual aid not only enhances academic engagement but also prepares students for broader life challenges, ensuring they recognise the practical applications of their studies in real-world contexts, thus fostering a well-rounded and informed approach to their futures.

The essential skills icons are included on all the resources and are consistently referred to across 40+ subjects posters and expanded resource ranges.

The posters that can be used alongside other resources such as the LMI guides where we provide clear examples of how the essential skills can be used in a specific subject area or industry / sector.

Help schools to highlight careers in the curriculum by displaying posters in classrooms and hallways that clearly map out each subject's connection to various career paths and the essential skills developed through studying them. For instance, a poster on Biology could show careers in healthcare, research, and environmental science, along with skills like analytical thinking and problem-solving. Teachers can reference these posters during lessons to highlight real-world applications, and career counselors can use them during guidance sessions to help students plan their academic and professional futures. Additionally, integrating projects and activities that mimic real-world scenarios tied to these subjects can further solidify these connections.
