SATRO is an educational charity which has been working across the South East since 1984.

The charity's aim is to inspire and develop the aspirations of young people, supporting them to nurture their passions and explore pathways to a successful career, which will benefit the regional economy, wider society and all our futures.

The Electronics & Renewable Energy workshops explore circuits, components, conductors & insulators, light, sound and sustainable energy.

Pupils make a range of electronic circuits and discuss/learn about where energy comes from and how to save energy.

Three of the Skills Builder essential skills (Staying Positive, Aiming High and Teamwork) are assessed at a step level at the end of the workshop using a Clikapad quiz. The skills are introduced at the start of the workshop and reminder questions placed on the tutor's PowerPoint at appropriate points.
