Push is a not-for-profit organisation that supports schools across a number of CEIAG essential skills. The sessions are funny and interactive, yet enable students to make important decisions, and take on vital skills in a relatable way. Push can help achieve the updated Gatsby Benchmarks with their theoretical and practical skills based sessions.

Push is nationally-based; reaching all schools, colleges and universities to provide a personalised, laddered programme to develop aspirations, confidence, resilience, as well as the knowledge of different pathways available to every young person. The aim of the organisation is to encourage students to see that their aspirations are achievable.

This session focuses on Staying Positive. The skill is firstly introduced at the start of the session to the students and the facilitators notes provides information about Skills Builder, the essential skills and why they're important for the students' success in education, employment and wider life. The facilitator will then talk through the relevant focus steps for the session, which are complimented with prompts and questions throughout to enable the students to reflect on Staying Positive. Students are also prompted to keep a record of this through entry and exit tickets to the session.
