A multi-intervention post-16 higher education preparation programme with subject-specific strands, SHU Transform gives students, starting in Year 12 and running through to Year 13, the opportunity to explore a chosen subject strand and experience student life at Sheffield Hallam University.

Through five applied and engaging on-campus experiences, students will develop the knowledge and skills to support their progression into higher education. Using the Skills Builder Benchmark platform, students benchmark their skills at the start of the programme and then are provided with skills workshops at each intervention, as well as working through a team innovation challenge. During the final intervention students will again use the benchmarking tool to see where they now feel they are at, as well as deliver a poster and pitch presentation.
