The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is the Club’s award-winning charitable body and has a long-established, productive and valued partnership with its local communities where there are significant socio-economic challenges alongside aspirations, potential, talent and opportunity to create, deliver and sustain positive change.

Tech Slam UK is a collaboration between the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and The Hidden Genius Project, which trains and mentors Black male youth in technology creation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills to transform their lives and communities.

The initiative aims to empower youth from diverse backgrounds to explore career opportunities within the worlds of sports and technology. Students from local schools are invited to the stadium for a series of workshops which focused on exposing youth to tech skills using sports and technology.

An essential skills workshop gives students the opportunity to identify which essential skills are important to a range of people from the world of sports and technology, as well as everyday activities such as gaming and socialising with friends. They are then asked to identify which skills they demonstrate on a daily basis, and reflect on the steps of that skill and how they demonstrate this, supported to articulate what they do well and how they might take this forward into potential careers. Students are also supported to identify the steps they'd like to work on as areas for development.
